Greenville Army veteran Daniel Mobley was recently awarded the Driver Resource Center Future of Trucking Scholarship, receiving $1,000 toward his CDL training. Daniel is enrolled in CDL school at CDL Truck Driver Training in Paducah utilizing his VA education benefits to help cover the cost of school. After graduation, he hopes to begin his driving career with TMC Transportation.

Daniel says the scholarship helped relieve financial stress so he could focus fully on training and providing for his family.

“It’ll lift a worry off my shoulders to where I’ll be able to focus on getting my CDL,” Daniel shared. “To take care of my 1-year-old better and giving my family everything they deserve and want. Building a great 401K plan and an IRA for my child’s future, as well as be something she can be proud of, both her and my wife.”
