Job Description

CDL Truck Driver Training, the leader in CDL Training, is seeking qualified CDL Driver instructors to train prospective students at our Paducah, KY campus. This is a part-time, casual position. Candidate must have a flexible schedule to accommodate test days. Set weekly hours cannot be guaranteed and may fluctuate based on need, however candidate can anticipate working 15-20 hours/week on average.

We are looking for experienced Class A CDL truck drivers with 2.5 years experience and the ability and desire, to train the next generation of professional truck drivers.

What We Look For:

  • Valid Class A CDL License
  • Good driving record, No more than 3 moving violations in the last 2 years
  • Able to operate a Commercial motor vehicle.
  • 2.5 years Driving Experience.
  • High School Diploma or GED
  • Must be able and willing to attain an instructor license from a state approving agency as applicable
  • Able to Pass a DOT Physical and Drug Screen
  • Basic computer capabilities
  • Have the ability to effectively communicate and provide training to others
  • Good Interpersonal Skills with strong oral & written communication skills
  • Must leadership abilities needed to provide instruction, full pre-trip inspection, basic control skills and over-the-road training to students’
