Becoming a CDL Truck Driving Instructor can be a very rewarding career path for current truck drivers. It enables you to use your driving experience to train the next generation of truck drivers. We are fortunate at Driver Resource Center to have some of the best and most experienced CDL Instructors. 

When a student graduates from one of our Network Schools, they most often remember the experience they had with a trainer. Years down the road, they will recount to us how impactful their trainer was on their success.

What are the Qualifications to Become a CDL Truck Driving Instructor?

  • Possess a Valid Class A CDL License
  • 2 years driving experience needed
  • OTR experience needed
  • Able to pass DOT physical and drug screen
  • High School diploma or equivalent
  • Ability to communicate with others using oral and written skills

Akron, OH – $57,420/year.
Greer, SC – $57,420/year.
Wichita, KS – $57,420/year.
Elizabethtown, KY – $53,650/year.
Tulsa, OK – $53,650/year.
Paducah, KY – $57,420/year.
Waco, TX – $53,650/year.
Scott City, MO – $53,650/year.
Park Hills, MO – $53,650/year.
